CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After months of griping about how North Carolina is anti-worker and deciding to take a lower profile at the Democratic National Convention, top union officials are united in saying: it’s time to move on.

James Hoffa, head of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, said that Big Labor is looking past Charlotte to the bigger prize in November. “Union leaders are not going to let it diminish our efforts past the convention,” Hoffa told POLITICO.
