CHICAGO — The union representing thousands of CTA bus operators, mechanics and other staff said they just can’t hold it in any longer: Something needs to be done about the bathroom situation on the job. Some bus drivers are opting to wear adult diapers while on their routes because they may not be close to a CTA facility or local businesses that have bathrooms, union officials say.
