COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — The Union Pacific Railroad will be rerouting several trains through Council Bluffs today through Thursday because of work being done on tracks in Harrison County, the railroad said.
An additional eight to 12 trains will be coming through Council Bluffs on the Canadian National Railroad tracks between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., the railroad said.
Drivers wanting to avoid delays should use the Broadway viaduct, said John Nicolini of the Public Works Department.
The railroad is replacing ties on the tracks between Missouri Valley and the railroad bridge over the Missouri River.
