CLEVELAND, May 27 — The Teamsters have expanded their Disaster Relief Fund efforts in Missouri to include several additional counties that have been declared disaster areas.
Assistance is now available to members in Missouri who live in the following counties: Butler, Cape Girardeau, Howell, Jasper, McDonald, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pulaski, Ripley, Saint Louis, Scott, Stoddard, Stone and Taney.
Available from the BLET website is a Teamster “Disaster Alert Notice” and “Request for Help” form. If you have experienced a loss due to extreme weather, please download and fill out the forms, or call the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund office at (202) 624-8971.
The forms — including all requested documentation — are due by Monday, June 27, 2011.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD
To help increase awareness of this valuable benefit, members who live and work in the affected areas are asked to print and post these “Disaster Relief Notices” at their places of work.
