PRICE, Utah — A railroad company is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in an arson on a railway bridge.

The Utah Railway Co. is offering the reward after a fire Friday destroyed the Gordon Creek bridge, a railroad trestle near Price. Approximately 300 feet of the wood decking was destroyed, the company said. The 620-foot steel-and-wood trestle was built in 1914.

Anyone with information on the fire is urged to call the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office at 435-636-3251.
