WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Port of Vancouver and Canadian National Railroad announced a supply chain collaboration agreement that is designed to enhance the gateway’s competitiveness for North American exports as well as imports from Asia.
Robin Silvester, Port Metro Vancouver’s president and chief executive officer, and Claude Mongeau, CN president and CEO, said the agreement will foster cooperation among all of the port’s stakeholders in order to improve supply chain efficiency.
The Canadian Pacific Coast port competes with U.S. West Coast ports for North American trade to and from Asia.
