OTTAWA — VIA Rail employees affected by last week’s fatal crash with an OC Transpo bus have a new set of resources to draw from, according to the company.

Two engineers have been given three mandatory days off, with the option to take two more, after the bus crashed into a train at Fallowfield Station, killing six people and injuring more than 30.

There’s also peer support programs and access to therapists and doctors.
