WINNIPEG — A union spokesman says Via Rail employees who refused to work on a train that may have been contaminated with Norwalk virus are being disciplined.

The train was delayed in Winnipeg for six hours while officials scoured the car for evidence of the virus after 25 passengers and two employees fell ill. Union spokesman Brad Roy said the company has withheld work from the four part-time employees who refused to return to the train.
