RICHMOND, Va. — Director Matt Tucker today announced that Kevin B. Page will serve as the Director of Rail Transportation within the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT).

Mr. Page brings over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and 11 years of service within DRPT’s rail team to the leading rail position within the state’s agency for rail and public transportation.

Director Tucker said, “Kevin’s broad-based experience and established relationships in the rail industry will serve the agency well as DRPT’s role in rail transportation for Virginia continues to expand and evolve.”

Mr. Page will manage the rail activities for DRPT, including freight and passenger rail projects and studies, in addition to grant programs including the Rail Enhancement Fund, the Rail Preservation program and the Rail Industrial Access program.

He will work with the agency’s rail team, the Rail Advisory Board, rail industry, and public and private stakeholders to advance rail transportation in Virginia.
