ROANOKE, Va. — With Amtrak expected to have service to the Star City within the next three years, students from Virginia Tech have been tasked with creating designs. But they’re not just making plans for a train station — they’re creating a multimodal space that would tie trains, busses, taxis and the Greenway all together in one central location.
