CLEVELAND, February 16 — The BLET Education & Training Department’s third and possibly final Secretary-Treasurer Compliance Workshop is now full, but a fourth workshop may be scheduled later this year.
BLET National Secretary-Treasurer Bill Walpert has established a waiting list on the BLET website for a future workshops and indicated that one will be scheduled only if there is enough interest among the membership.
Workshops in Chicago (February 18-21) and Kansas City (March 12-15) filled up quickly. The final slot in the Denver workshop (April 9-12) was claimed earlier this week. Workshops are filled on a first come, first served basis and each class is limited to 30 participants.
Secretary-Treasurers should sign up on the S-T Workshop waiting list online through the BLET website at: https://www.ble-t.org/st.
“The fact that all three S-T Workshops filled to maximum capacity is a testament to the importance of the job Secretary-Treasurers must perform on a monthly, if not daily, basis,” NST Walpert said. “It is also a testament to the BLET National Division staff, who have worked hand-in-hand with the membership to implement the new online reporting system.”
