Macomb police say that a disabled Amtrak train has left two dozen passengers stuck in Macomb until at least Thursday.

According to reports, the passenger train from Chicago went out of service at the Macomb train depot Tuesday night.

Approximately 27 passengers exited the train, seeking shelter in the local depot.

The train then traveled to the west edge of Macomb, where it could be sidetracked for maintenance work.
