BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Metro-North defines a train as being on time if it arrives or departs within five minutes and 59 seconds of the scheduled time. So the train due in Grand Central at 8:45 a.m. is still “on time” in Metro-North’s record keeping if it pulls in just before 8:51 a.m.
