WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — The Central Florida Regional Planning Council has recommended conditions for the CSX rail terminal project that it hopes the city of Winter Haven will adopt. This is what will happen next:
The Winter Haven Planning Commission will review the project on Sept. 24.
The Winter Haven City Commission will do the same on Oct. 29 and voter on approving a development order. The city may amend or eliminate some of the planning council’s conditions.
If the state Department of Community Affairs is displeased with the development order, it could appeal it to the Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission, which includes Gov. Charlie Crist.
