CHICAGO — The wife of a Metra track inspector who was killed Nov. 3 in an explosion in Chicago has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the commuter rail agency. Sandy Zavala, of Joliet, filed a suit in Cook County on Thursday saying Metro failed to provide her husband, Omar Solis, 37, with a reasonably safe place to work.
