BECKLEY, W.Va. — The battle between North America’s railroad titans continues. Virginia-based Norfolk Southern Corp. exhorted its employees to vote against Calgary-headquartered Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.’s latest attempts to press shareholders to vote for “friendly merger talks” at its annual meeting May 12.
