NEW YORK — Total U.S. weekly rail traffic was 500,285 carloads and intermodal units, down 2.5% compared with the same week in 2021. This is the 19th consecutive week that total traffic has declined. (Total traffic gains were last seen in Week 7, which ended Feb. 17, 2022.)
